With an aviation engineering career commencing in 1983, I have held roles in Aircraft Maintenance & Planning, System Engineering, Maintenance Programs, Project Management and Consultancy Services, 17 years of which were in Germany before I moved to Australia in 2006.
Joining Virgin Australia Airlines in 2006 and based in Brisbane, I am the Manager Fleet Engineering with core responsibilities of managing the CAMO functions of Technical Services, Maintenance Programs, Reliability Programs and Technical Assets for a fleet of 100+ aircraft.
I hold a Masters in Aviation Management and a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. A member of the IATA EMG group since 2012, I was elected Vice-Chairman of the IATA MCTF in 2015.
